The Great Indian Bustard

The Great Indian BustardMr Harish Bhat, a researcher from Indian Institute of Science who has been actively involved in spreading awareness about the conservation of the Great Indian Bustard, presented a slide presentation on Status of Great Indian Bustard (Ardeotis nigriceps) at Ranebennur Blackbuck Sanctuary discussing how we could be involved in creating awareness on the majestic bird which is on the decline and nearing extinction in the country introducing a film on the “Great Indian Bustard” being made to addresss the issue by ECO Watch an NGO founded by Mr Suresh Heblikar, who was the Guest of Honour.
