Aranyam will  bring this camp to India!   Climate change is becoming increasingly urgent, and we can only tackle this issue if we work together and come up with creative solutions that address the root causes of the problem. The Climate camps at various parts of the world conducted the previous years was an inspiring example of collective action, and an invaluable contribution to building a successful movement for action on climate change. 

The camp will be a working ecological village using renewable energy, composting waste and sourcing food locally.

The workshops and skill sharing play an important part at the Climate Camp. For those who participate, inclusive and dynamic spaces to encounter new ideas (and challenges), sharing their knowledge of the issues (climate change), and acquire tangible skills that prepare them to move further in our collective campaign for an ecological and egalitarian society.

These session features classroom lectures, field studies and craft projects on the theme of "Sustainability and Nature Connect". Classes are typically one or two hours in duration with most of the time spent outdoors or in hands-on activities. Structure is informal, with questions and input from other instructors and attendees encouraged.  Our volunteer instructors, many of whom are professionals in the organic farming, naturalists, wildlife experts, alternate resources managers, will tell the participants about sustainable life cycles, alternate energy - production, conservation ethics, conditions in nature, and how various living creatures and their environment cope with change.
